From the data collected, a system specifications is developed, it provides in detail the functions described above and how each one will work to meet the needs of the organisation, this forms the blue print of the website

Development/Coding

The coding team uses the system specification document and the designs developed and turns those into a web solution, the designs are turned into code that is readable by web servers and your internet browsers

Content Publishing

Content is received from the client in an editable format and it’s entered into the right sections and categories, it’s reviewed multiple times to make sure that it is well placed and visible.

Testing on Servers

Client website is hosted on Ideas Africa servers and various aspects of the web site are tested to guarantee quality and functionality e.g. links, navigation's, loading of image speed, compatibility with other browsers etc.

Production /Live Publishing

After testing and approval by the client, the website is loaded online and tested on remote servers, load speeds, scripts, compatibility are tested and when approved then its published for the public to view and the process of development ends here.

Training and Handing Over

Client is trained on how to maintain and update site i.e. adding text, videos, images as well as adding or removing functions. Client is also provided with a hard copy of Content Management System manual.

Support & Maintenance

After site is handed over, Ideas Africa provides a free 30 day support after date of completing project. This allows for client to review site while it is online and make request for minor updates at no additional cost that he/she may feel necessary.
